You'll see pictures of work, of just people, and of children. The work being done is the Lord's so whether it's laying block or playing with children, His work is being done.
The pictures are wonderful. What a blessing these children are receiving. Thanks everyone for taking the time to provide them this needed school. God's Blessings to all in Haiti. Safe travels.

As I look at all these pictures I am thanking God for the years of childlessness that led us to Haiti to adopt Timothy and Shella. Only Jesus can take at our dark moments and turn them into bright blessings. Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him. You are bringing blessings in so many ways! You are the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing his love to his precious children.

Heather - We join you in thanking God for HIS timing in bringing you and Eric to the people of Haiti. May God continue to bless these travelers and those they meet.

More tears from here! I rejoice that God has blessed this journey in so many ways. Not just for you there but what a blessing this has been for me. It causes me to stop and give thanks for the "things" that we take for granted. I truly give thanks that God placed the Ahlemeyers where He knew they should be to bring Timothy and Shella here to begin our link to Haiti. I pray He continues to bless the children of Haiti and their growing years that they are always a part of His church here on earth. They have so many reasons in our sinful nature to turn their backs to Him and we in all of our luxuries tend to turn so much quicker. We look for blame....they see blessings in every little thing they are given. A simple balloon lights up their world. I cannot believe looking at the photo of Timothy that he was once a child lost in the Haitian world. God brought him to Pastor and Heather knowing that on this very mission trip Timothy would be a light to a dark world that only we see.....not the Haitian people. I just want to hug every child in these photos and thank them for being a blessing to me in my modern world and helping me to see the things I take for granted such as it takes nothing to make pure happiness. God is using them in ways they do not now. may He continue to bless your work the next week. The photos of building progress are physical photos we can see. The smiles on the Haitian people shows us their hearts. Please, keep the blog coming!!! It makes my day fill with many more smiles....after the tears.
